Diamond Rouge Hydrangea

If you love hydrangeas then this is definitely one you need to add to your collection.   Diamond Rouge will be filled with long lasting flowers on strong stems that start out white in July then turn to pink, raspberry red and finally wine red.   Growing to 4-5′ tall and 3-4′ wide it is a great mid-size shrub preferring full sun.

Golden Jackpot Weigela

Weigelas make great hedge or foundation plants.  This new introduction from Monrovia glows with brilliant golden leaves that hold their color all season long, flowering almost a month in mid-spring with crimson buds that open deep pink.  Golden Jackpot prefers part to full sun and grows to about 4-5′ tall and wide.

Neon Burst Dogwood

If you love the red winter stems of dogwood but are short on space then Neon Burst is the solution.  This compact shrub grows 4-5′ tall and wide and prefers full sun.  The chartreuse leaves turn purple, red, yellow and orange in the fall followed by glossy red stems in winter.

Low Scape Mound Aronia

If you are looking for a beautiful, easy care shrub with year around interest then be sure to check out Low Scape.  This low growing shrub is filled with small blossoms in spring with glossy green leaves in summer followed by gorgeous red foliage and nearly black berries in fall that hang around into winter too.  Grows best in part to full sun getting about 18-24″ tall and wide.  Perfect in mass or in smaller spaces too.
