For a limited time, Sargent’s Nursery is able to give you the chance to grow the Minnesota State Flower. We are lucky enough to work with a state certified grower/harvester to offer native Showy Lady’s Slipper, Small Yellow Lady’s Slipper and Greater Lady’s Slipper.
Care
These beautiful plants prefer bright shade or dappled sunlight under taller trees. Soil should be consistently moist but not soggy with lots of organic matter. Amend the soil with decomposed leaves or compost at planting. Lady slippers are shallow rooted so mulching is important to help maintain moisture. Care sheets available in the garden center.
