In searching for the right things to say or do in these crazy times I thought I’d share something a bit more personal.
It’s easy to get lost these days in the minutiae of changing schedules and hanging on the news headlines to try and find out what’s next, but one way our family has tried to get out of the house and spend some quality family time was by using our backyard to have a fire.

Even though it’s still chilly we decided to have a campfire cookout in the woods outside our home the other night. Roasting hot dogs and marshmallows is always great thing!  I think Zachary and Morgan have consumed about half a bag of marshmallows! ????
It’s little things like this that remind us we can make a difference in our family’s lives by how we respond to this crisis. I am reflecting on how special family is and how nature has a way of connecting us all.
I hope you can find that inner peace through whatever avenue sparks them and if you have time to just get outside, walk in the woods, work in your yard or garden, and know that there are better days ahead for all of us!
